“I was working full-time somewhere else when a friend asked if I wanted to work part-time in the evenings at the PurFoods warehouse. I needed the money, so after I clocked out of my full-time job, I worked at the warehouse until late in the evening. After a few months, I was offered full-time work at PurFoods. I’m so thankful they took a chance on me, and that they allow people with the aptitude to try, to fail and to move on. It’s one of the pillars of our company. Watching the company grow from its infancy to what it is today is unbelievable.”
