What is the Mom’s Meals Hunger Challenge?
When someone is food insecure, it directly affects their overall health and well-being. Helping combat food insecurity is an issue that directly aligns with our mission of improving life through better nutrition at home. It’s why Mom’s Meals developed the Hunger Challenge initiative. Through our annual Hunger Challenge, we donate medically tailored meals providing short-term access to home-delivered meals to those who may not qualify for other programs.
How does the Hunger Challenge work?
If someone is food insecure and is not eligible for any type of home-delivered meal funding or programs, we can help. If the individual qualifies, we’ll donate a cooler of 14 meals to provide short-term support to that person until other long-term community resources can be identified.

Reducing food insecurity in the communities we serve
Mom’s Meals is passionate about improving access to quality nutrition and reducing food insecurity where we live and work, and across America. One of the main ways we are combating these issues is through our corporate social responsibility efforts.
We are doing this in three ways:
- Ensuring equitable food access
By using connections with public, private and government sectors, we have been able to donate meals in collaboration with community-based organizations (CBOs). - Supporting our communities
Our ingredients and shelf-stable meals have been donated to local foodbanks and other CBOs. - Engaging employees
Mom’s Meals employees are passionate about our mission of improving life through better nutrition at home. They are constantly volunteering or donating resources to help those in need.
