Crafting quality nutrition for improving life through better nutrition at home
Mom’s Meals joined the Grinnell community in 2013 with the opening of a kitchen. Although this is our only kitchen facility in Iowa, it’s not the first. The original Mom’s Meals kitchen was located about an hour away in Nevada, Iowa.
This 40,000 square foot facility carefully prepares hundreds of thousands of pounds of food each day. Using high-quality ingredients, our kitchen production teams make medically tailored meals in clean, safe environments that meet the highest food regulation standards with on-site USDA inspectors. Our state-of-the-art tray sealing equipment ensures the meals maintain their quality and flavor for the thousands of people who rely on them every day.
To date, we have invested approximately $20 million in the campus and employ approximately 110 team members.
