BrucePac, a Mom’s Meal supplier, recalls certain ready-to-eat meat and poultry products

Mom’s Meals received notice from BrucePac, one of our ingredient suppliers, of a product recall due to possible listeria monocytogenes contamination at its facility (not a Mom’s Meals facility). The ingredient for which we received the recall notice is the chicken breast patty used in certain production runs of our BBQ Chicken meals that have a “Use By” date falling between Oct. 9, 2024, and Oct. 31, 2024.

We have not received any confirmed cases of illness caused by consumption of this meal. Also, this recall does not affect any other meals we produce, including those that contain chicken.

Because of our end-to-end product traceability and our strong client communication capabilities, we were able to take immediate actions to minimize affected meals from being distributed and to quickly communicate with clients who received any meals in question.

We have asked clients who received the following meals to dispose of them out of an abundance of caution:

BBQ Chicken with Potatoes and Seasoned Mixed Vegetables
Lot #64237
Use By Dates: 10/9/2024 to 10/31/2024

BBQ Chicken with Potato Medley and Seasoned Corn
Lot #64232
Use By Dates: 10/9/2024 to 10/31/2024

We are committed to supporting our clients and are replacing discarded meals. If you are a client who has received one of these meals and we have not yet been able to connect with you to set up a replacement meal, please contact us at contact@momsmeals.com or 877-508-6667

Mom’s Meals is committed to ensuring the highest levels of quality of our products and to supporting the health and safety of our clients.
